A workshop to train marriage mentors will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 27 at Emerge Ministries Inc., 900 Mull Ave., Akron.The seminar is for any pastor, individual or couple interested in becoming marriage mentors. It will provide the fundamentals of marriage mentoring from a biblical perspective.The workshop will be facilitated by psychologists Donald Lichi and Richard Serbin and licensed counselor David J. Teare. The counselors plan to offer practical teaching, creative ideas and written materials.
